How to Keep the Olympic Values

With the Olympics on the way in London and many diferent from different countries are here to watch the games, you may wonder how you could show and keep the Olympic Values. But you may ask: 'What are the Olympic Values?'...

Here's: How to Keep the Olympic Values.♥

Steps
Well, the first Olympic Value is DETERMINATION. The definition of determination is - Firmness of Purpose. This means that whatever your goal is, you are always ready to complete it and you have no doubt that you will complete it. Examples of Determination during the Olympic games are when Athletic Runners are determined to cross the finish line first.

Another Value is EQUALITY. The definition of determination is - The state of being equal, especially in status, rights, and opportunities. This means that even though that people come from different countries, they are all united as one whole community. In your community, there may be many different people but remember that you are all the same and that means you shouldn't mistreat anyone because of their background.

The third Olympic Value is RESPECT. The definition of respect is - A feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. This means that whether it's a god in your certain religion or if it's a person, then you must admire them in reverance because of theor talents. People can show respect to people who show a brave face even through hard times.

Another Olympic Value is EXCELLENCE. The definition of excellence is - The quality of being outstanding or extremely good. This means that any talent you may have should be practised with great quality. You shouldn't show people your talent half-heartedly. You should give it your all. Examples of Excellence is during the Olympic games are when Gymnasts show the judges their routines. They have to put a lot of effort in their performance. And you should too.

An Olympic Value is INSPIRATION. The definition of inspiration is - The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative: "flashes of inspiration". This means that someone is in awe of someone or something, maybe of what that person or thing did. For me, my inspiration is my Mummy♥ because after everything we've been through, she's still there for me and she always smiles. That's what people need in their lives.

The sixth Olympic Value is COURAGE. The definition of courage is - Strength in the face of pain or grief. This means that whenever you are afraid or anxious of doing something, then you must show bravery. Imagine all the auditionees on 'Britain's Got Talent' or 'The X Factor'. They must show courage if they want to perform and impress the judges as well as the national audience.

The final and most important one, in my opinion, is FRIENDSHIP. The definition of friendship is - The emotions or conduct of friends; the state of being friends. This means that everyone around you are like your neighbours; your friends. All the competitors and different countries in the Olympics must be united with friendship because in a way, they are one nation. Even in your every day community, you must be friends with each other because at the end of the day it's you and your love with your friends which saves the day...
